Kaspersky Lab announces a new addition to its worldwide network of offices with the opening of a representative office in Israel today. The new office in Tel Aviv will provide business development, and sales and marketing support for Kaspersky Lab’s products in the country.
Israel is one of Kaspersky Lab’s oldest markets after establishing its first partner network there in 2001. Over the last decade Kaspersky Lab has become a leading brand in the field of IT security in Israel, and its solutions have gained a significant market share in the consumer and business sectors.
The new Tel Aviv office will strengthen Kaspersky Lab’s sales and marketing functions and customer support in the region. It will be the central point of contact for all Israeli partners and customers. The new office will be headed by Noam Froimovici, founder and ex co-CEO of Power Communications, one of the leading software distributors in Israel and the official distributor of Kaspersky Lab.
Eugene Kaspersky, CEO and co-founder of Kaspersky Lab commented: “I am very proud to announce the official opening of Kaspersky Lab’s first office in Israel, which I believe will strengthen and enhance our business in the country. The decision to open the new office was based on high demand for our products and increasing customer assistance requests in Israel.”
In May 2013 Kaspersky Lab launched its new flagship corporate product in Israel. Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business is a security platform designed to help businesses overcome the latest challenges in managing a secure, efficient corporate network.
Noam Froimovici, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab Israel, added: “We’ve built up a vast network of customers and partners in Israel, and the next logical step is to establish a direct presence in the region. The new office will help us to strengthen and promote the Kaspersky Lab brand in Israel, and more effectively coordinate our partnership activities. We plan to establish SLA support in Israel to provide our corporate customers with services of the highest quality.”
Kaspersky Lab is a strong supporter of local initiatives wherever it operates. This year, as an official sponsor of Scuderia Ferrari, Kaspersky Lab is delighted to bring Ferrari to Israel as part of the first ever city racing event in the region, “Jerusalem Formula The Peace Road Show 2013”.
